Middle School Programs

Objective: Create interest and increase players at the Middle School level while maintaining 90% retention from 8th to 9th grade.

    • Middle School Visibility

      • As Head Coach I will observe a practice for each sport in the winter and spring seasons

      • Fill the Middle Nights

        • We will arrange nights where our football team goes as a group over to watch our Future Panthers Compete

        • Will need to coordinate with Middle School Athletic Director

    • Middle School Visit and Signing Day

      • End of 1st Semester During Finals Week

      • Introduction to North Central Football

      • Social Media

        • Pictures in Jerseys

      • Signing Day

        • Commitment to be a part of the Panther Football Program

      • Create fun, low risk environment to get kids excited about football

      • Create a fun environment to learn football and build relationships

Speed and Strength Camp

Objective: Develop core strength and speed movements in middle school athletes.

  • Strength training focused on basic movements

  • Speed and Agility training for acceleration and change of direction

  • Decrease the Learning Curve for incoming Freshmen

Youth League

Objective: Develop a love of the game at the lower levels that uses football to develop young men of character.

  • Work with the youth league to see what they need to be successful

  • Weekly appearances by coaches and players

  • Remove all reasonable barriers to get more players involved

  • Seek the cutting edge in keeping the game safer

  • Develop Community Coaches

  • Organized Coaches Clinic in Summer

Youth and Junior High Camp

Objective: Increase Youth League numbers with a camp that highlights the fun, family environment of Shenandoah football.

  • Both camps will be free to increase the amount of Future Panthers

  • Building Relationships is the priority

  • Create a great environment for players to learn the game

  • Involve Youth League Coaches with Drills

  • Provide Handbook with Drills and Coaching Points

  • Worked by NC Players and Coaches

Elementary Field Days

Objective: Increase Youth involvement in the football program while developing servant leaders and community buy in.

  • Work with Elementary Schools Liaisons to pick the ideal day

  • Seniors to be (current Juniors) work at their old schools

  • Overseen by Coaches

  • Handout flyers for Youth Camp and Youth League

  • Football related awards
